1 and growing....

I never posted any photos from his first birthday. I just remembered. Thanks for all who came. It was something else and slightly overwhelming but it'll get easier in the years to come. (Photos will follow.)

At his one yr old visit..he was 29.5" and 23.6 lbs....the other day he was 31" and 25 lbs. WOW...that was only a 2 week difference. Could that be? Who knows but he's quite the little guy.

His vocab has grown dramatically...he goes in spurts with using them.

-baby (and points to himself, still has not forgotten how to use this word)
-"tu-tuh" (Uncle Tou Ger)
-"ee" (Auntie Chee)
-"ease" for please
-"bu-ball" for foot ball
-"tur-tle" (uses it less now than before)
-"than-thu" for Thank You
-"mmmmmm"
-when he's mad, he will even raise his voice. (pretty interesting to me)

He's still not walking yet! Grrrrrr!
He's gotten more clingy! It's been better today but it has not been easy for the past week.

He still loves to sing. Especially loves to hear the ABC song. It doesn't matter who is singing it (Elmo, me, LeapFrog, tv..). He will get all excited! Start dancing.

He loves Madagascar. "I like to move it, move it!" He will move it.
