Today I was walking around the track at the gym. Evan is in the child care. I see him pushing on this girl and she's pushing on him. It was not a happy ending. Evan ended up poking the girl hard and she started to cry. I was disturbed by his behavior to this little girl. He's hiding at this point. I finish my workout and told him he was going to timeout when we get home. We get home and he's dragging his feet. Doesn't want to take off his shoes or jacket. I told him, "You did the crime, you need to do the time. Go to timeout." It was a struggle though he made it to timeout. I was pretty proud of us. He eventually stayed in there wailing, "Hold me." We talked and he will still do it again. I just am glad I didn't get home and not go through with the punishment.
