Great Start 2014

2014 has officially started with great news. Evan will be moving to 1st grade next Monday. Almost 1 year to date when we first started him with his tutor and how much that has improved him. I cannot describe how I feel with Evan achieving this. I can just think of all those days of encouragement, disappointment, redirection, creativity and everything in between that has taken us to this moment. It is one proud moment I tell you for the whole team and for himself.

I found out while I was talking to one of my child care parents. Evan blurted out,"I'm going to go to 1st grade on Monday and I'm going to be in that class forever." Every moment played through my mind about everything that we all have been working for. Seriously a huge sign of relief. I has originally asked for an evaluation before the break and the principal said that we would know before the winter break. Then she emailed me today and I was too busy to read it before Evan told me.

I am so proud! I told him to enjoy this moment and that we are going to celebrate with Chuckecheese. On the other note, I'm note sure how I'm going to get him there because I don't have a vehicle at the moment. It's okay though because that's the least of my worries at this moment.

Great job Evan! Thank you for sticking through and through all of the learning, encouragements, discouraging moments to the victorious moments. You are an awesome child and I am excited to see what the future holds for you!
